one ring rudd aka katie is the event guru galore...she has single handily intercepted several close calls when I nearly shot and maimed a retarded stringed trio in the desert, the time I close to killed our favorite lighting team, and the time I couldn't understand why a stupid reserved sign could break apart a family. (if that's all it takes, my theory is, break apart already!)

juanie has been working here since he was 19!!! and now he is 23 and we love him... he is so talented and really the person behind many of the beautiful things you see.... i think he likes us too cuz he even came back after nearly losing his finger on a job site... it was sewn back on perfectly... good as new...

my mom joined facebook a couple weeks ago and immediately reconnected with some old college friends who sent her this photo...
she is the cute one holding her books... this photo was taken in 1971 at tehran university in front of the physiology lab.... she was already dating my dad and as she puts it "we were in llllllllooove"...

and for those of you who do not know, she started white lilac and is still the bakcbone of all things beautiful here...in fact katie and i can hear her laughing in the back with rick and beth...

an evening in the desert

we spent two gorgeous days and one very eventful night at the parker palm springs... the event went off beautifully but behind the scenes, one of us ended up in the ER, one came home without their shirt, and another had waaaay too much fun at the firepit... what happens at white lilac stays at white lilac
